Original high flow air filter for the automotive aftermarket
Since 1969 K&N has been designing and manufacturing high flow air filters and dedicates special attention to improving their performance. It is a company operating worldwide with over 2400 types of high flow air filters, fitting practically any type of vehicle, motorcycle, or ATV. It has a wider range of applications than any other competing manufacturer, but above all, it is the inventor of the high flow category and technology on which it is based.
Engine protection and filtration
K&N air filters are designed to achieve high levels of airflow, virtually unlimited, while maintaining basic filtration performance to ensure prolonged engine life. Our replacement air filters for vehicles generally add 1-4 horsepower. Our high flow filter elements, made of cotton gauze, are washable and reusable and are built to last the lifetime of the vehicle or motorcycle engine. K&N air filters consist of layers of cotton gauze (from 4 to 6) between two sheets of aluminum mesh. This material is then folded and oiled to increase filtration capabilities and overall performance. The result is air filters that allow considerably higher flows inside the engine, are washable and reusable, and will protect the engine for the entire lifetime of your vehicle.
